Elisabeth Conradi is Professor of Philosophy and Social Theory as faculty member of the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University Stuttgart (DHBW), Germany. The Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Stuttgart, Germany (DHBW) integrates academic studies with workplace training. The Social Work Faculty of DHBW Stuttgart has appr. 1000 students and 18 professors. In three monthly intervals the students regularly switch between study at the university and work in social institutions. The students work in turn with people in all phases of life: in their early and later childhood, adolescence and their old age, in institutions like kindergarden, psychiatric wards, schools, nursing homes, hospitals, prisons, doss houses and children’s homes. Some of the clients have disabilities or mental health and addiction issues. Research is conducted in the field of health care and dementia support, inclusion, lifelong learning, political science, profession, social economy, theory-practice-relationship and civil society.
Elisabeth Conradi is further affiliated to the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen where she is qualified for teaching at postgraduate level and to supervise doctoral candidates at the Institute of Political Science.
